I was proud to be a key note speaker at Lekker Gallery’s Art event hosted over the weekend of the 22 & 23rd of February at the exclusive Ferrari showroom in Cape Town.
The very well attended event showcased prominent digital artists and included three of my works, most notably Leviathan, The Pearl and The Last One Standing.
Last One Standing is a digital rendition of one of my fine art works depicting a large herd of elephants crossing the dry lakes in Amboseli National Park in Kenya.
As the herd moves, it slowly disintegrates into dust, symbolizing the loss of elephants all across Africa until just one large female remains symbolizing the choice we as humans need to make, do we loose them all or do we put effort into supporting those who are flighting to save what still remains.
